How do taxes work?

When we price your packages on the site, they will include sales tax based on your tax rate. eg. if your package price is $10 per person, and your sales tax rate is 10%, we'll add $1/ per person to cover the sales tax. In this example, your final package price on the site will be $11/pp. You should always approve the packages we send you with this in mind.  

While the final payout we send you is one lump sum, we provide a suggested breakdown of the pre-tax total, the taxable portion, as well as the sales tax. CaterCow does NOT report sales tax on each order. You (the caterer) are responsible for paying sales tax per your business tax payment schedule.  Please see the example below for a payout breakdown.
